Thanks for stopping by this morning, come on in, have a cup of coffee and chat for a few minutes. Coffee, aww I love my coffee. I just make regular coffee, and iced coffee. I’m not much for all the flavored coffee. I think I prefer perked coffee better than the one that’s brewed in the coffee maker, altho I do have the coffee maker. My momma had a stove top coffee pot. When coffee was perking on the stove you could smell it all through the house. I miss that smell. We used left over biscuits soaked in coffee for breakfast. Oh so good. Strong black coffee was used to make our red eye gravy. I still do the biscuits and coffee. When we spent the summertime with my grand momma in Arkansas, their was the old cook stove in the kitchen, which was a room separate from the log cabin. There was always a pot of beans cooking on the stove, in the warming oven was left over biscuits and cornbread. The cornbread was the snack before bed with a big glass of cold buttermilk.
